Landscapes to me are moments of sheer appreciation. Nature is beautiful, stunning in her myriad techniques for amazing us. This fact is often forgotten in today's world of freeways and overpasses. Daily commutes and cubicle walls often shield our view of the world around us. However, whether we are there or not, Mother Nature still preforms daily.

It is this performance that I aim to capture. Unfortunately, whether you shoot film or digital, no technology to date has been able to accurately capture the magnificence of nature. However, with patience, persistence, and a whole lot of patience you can come pretty close.

This collection of images has been aquired during my 15-year courtship with Mother Nature. In each shot I store a memory, a moment between myself and the world. I welcome you to share in this moment, and hope that you will take the time to allow the image to sink it. Remember, nature's beauty lies in her intricacies.
