Another shot from my cold day at the beach, once again using the 1Ds Mark II.
The ocean never fails to amaze me. The simplicity and rhythm of the waves, the pungent and relaxing aroma, the sand beneath your feet, you just can’t beat it as a photographic muse.
Mix the constancy of the waves with an extended shutter and you get yourself one hell of a relaxing afternoon at the beach. Minus the frigid water, soaked clothes, and roughly a pound of sand that now has to be removed from your car, house, and hair, of course.
