In an attempt to ease the frustration until my next regularly scheduled photo shoot, I decided to raid my newly restored archives. Don’t worry though, I will be venturing out tomorrow afternoon in search of some new material.
I went real old school for this one, all the way back to my film days in fact. I shot this using my Canon Rebel 2000, during my school days in Rochester. I think it might have even been on the good ol’ Velvia 50!
Toss in a curves adjustment layer to boost contrast, a heavy vignette for added drama, and of course a dash of tone mapping and I think we have ourselves a delicious film originated image.
Just goes to show you, just because we were born in the digital generation doesn’t mean we don’t remember what Dektol smells like!
