Now, I am sure many of you remember the Dunkin’ Donuts car from my earlier post. Well, now it’s time to get up close and personal with our old friend.
First let me clear something up. I know what you all must be thinking, and to be honest I was thinking the same thing when I first saw this electric blue beauty, however contrary to popular belief Rachel Ray is not the driver. I know, I know it’s very disappointing. Don’t worry though, she sent her regards as well as a few free lattes our way.
Enough with the smart cracks, let’s get down to business. Oh, and by the way if you have no idea who Rachel Ray is, don’t worry you aren’t missing much.
This shot was taken at the autograph session that occurred the night before the main event. All the drivers were lined up behind tables, their freshly buffed performance autos glistening behind them, signing shirts, hats, and anything the droves of children that had gathered could offer up.
I decided this would be the perfect opportunity to pull out one the aces I keep up my sleeve, my 14mm L EF lens. Let me tell you, throwing a 14mm on a full frame camera will literally rearrange your world. Such a specialty lens can often times be hard to utilize, though in this instance it provided a truly unique angle.
