Pardon my absence of late. It appears that my once trust worthy G-Raid drive, which of course held almost my entire working archive, has failed. What I hoped would be an easy fix has turned into quite an ordeal. All of this to say, I am currently without the majority of my working files. As you might imagine this is a bit of a bummer.
Luckily, after a bit of digging, I was able to scrounge up some files I thought post worthy. Today’s images, for example, came from my late night excursion through the Old Port district of Portland.
I had snapped these two shots of a particularly well-adorned storefront with my 50mm F1.8. I have to say, no matter how often I hear about the newest thing in lens technology, which is quite often working in a camera shop. I can’t help but think about how often I use my less expensive lenses, of which, my 50 is by far my favorite.
It just goes to show you, often times, the less complicated the shot the better the image.
