Hello all. Apologies for missing a night there, life has been a bit hectic these past few days.
Today’s image marks the last of the beach shots. As a series I am very pleased with the results. It was truly a case where I thought I had caught nothing worth saving and came home to find not only one but a few diamonds in the rough, definitely a worthwhile trip.
With this final diptych I really wanted to set the scene, not only in regards to the beach but also the approaching surf. After spending half my time in knee-high breakers, guarding my non-weather-sealed 5D with my life, I figured it would probably be a worthwhile cause to include at least one surf shot. And, if you look hard enough you can even see the actual surfers. Yes, those black dots.
Anyways, it’s late and I’m tired. So, for the time being I will bid you all farewell, however I shall return tomorrow with some fresh material, hot off the press. Stay tuned, stay clean, and most importantly stay classy!
