A while back I was introduced, thanks to our good friend Ryan, to the upcoming sport known as parkour. Parkour, also known as free running, is pretty crazy on the whole. Guys (and girls) running, jumping, diving, vaulting, and rolling over, under and through anything they can find.
Anxious to get some of these urban daredevils in front of my lens I did what any child of the technology age would do, I Google’d parkour groups in New England. Sure enough, there is a local community of parkour athletes running, jumping, and vaulting around Boston.
Today, Houser and I took the trip down 95 to see if we couldn’t snag these guys doing their thing. I tell ya, it’s pretty unnerving watching these guys, especially through the viewfinder when they’re rapidly getting closer to your lens!
