Summer Nights | 06:38AM Mar 30, 2008

All right, so I don’t know what life has been like in the rest of the country. However, here in the great white north (A.K.A. Maine) we have received well over 100 inches of snow. The last of which came down…yesterday! Yes, yesterday.

Personally, I have given up all hope of spring, summer, or even temperatures above 20 degrees. This being the case, I collaborated with my fellow Hunt’s employees on a summer themed photographic outing. What brings thoughts of summer you ask? Why an old fashioned drive-in of course! Real old in fact, the Saco Drive-In is the second oldest operating drive-in in the United States.

With temperatures hovering in the mid-teens we set off into the knee deep snow that covered the parking area of the drive-in. Tony had his newly purchased 5x7 view camera, Tyler had his Bronica 6x6, and what was I toting you ask? Well, I was committing an act of sacrilege by carrying the only digital camera in the bunch. Damn purists!

Here are my two keepers from the trip. Tomorrow, I shall share some shots of my two camera clad companions. Stay tuned people!

Oh, and no one gave me any tutorial ideas! Are you people telling me there isn’t a single thing that you would like to learn how to do in Photoshop? How about Lightroom? Come on ladies and gentlemen – what is it that you desire?!
