My beautiful girlfriend was part of 2008 cast of The Vagina Monologues, presented by Bates College. Oh yes, you heard right, my girlfriend has been up on stage for the past three nights talking about her vagina…well, hypothetically at least.
I saw their first performance on Thursday night. It was fantastic! Though, I bet I don’t have to tell you which monologue was my favorite.
Prior to the show, I was lucky enough to watch Liz prepare for her time in the spotlight. I am always fascinated by the female species’ ability to transform. I have realized, however, that trying to capture this unique transformation is nearly impossible. Perhaps I should have known better than to try and capture the inner sanctum of the other sex.
As you can tell from the presentation here, I was aiming for a documentary feel here. Thoughts?
