Passage of Time | 06:00AM Feb 06, 2008
We wish time to speed up while waiting for the mirror to click back down after a lengthy exposure and pray for the seconds to linger when holding the ones we love. However, no matter our wishes time never yields, never deviates from its chosen path.
Some find this idea disturbing, even terrifying. Not me though, I find security in the constant passage of time. I take great pleasure in witnessing this journey, watching as the vines climb brick and mortar, as wind and rain crumble concrete, and in this case as the sea washes away the timber, one splinter at a time.
