There are times in the great wide world of photography when inspiration simply strikes, many times without so much as a warning. This, however, was not one of those times. Oh no, this was pure unadulterated absurdity. Allow me to explain.
While in-route to a still undecided photographic destination I decided it would be a good idea to stick my $3,000 camera out the window of my car, while traveling roughly 75mph on the interstate no less. What can I say? It seemed like a good idea at the time.
Luckily, Ryan was positioned strategically in the back seat. Thanks to his ringside vantage point I am able to share a rarely seen glimpse into the wacky world of photography. At least that’s how I see it.
In the spirit of team work, friendship, and all things co-dependant I decided to do a joint post tonight. On the left you see Ryan’s image of yours truly, captured through the lens of my 20D, and on the right the hair-raising result of my high-speed photographic antics.
Also, did anyone notice my hand placement on the wheel? Not exactly 10 2 o’clock eh? Boy oh boy, my driver’s education teacher would not be happy.
