It's a woman's world. | 05:44AM Jul 21, 2007

Tonight’s image brought to you by the one, the only, Maxwell Kruger. Per his request I was able to dig up a shot of “Amy.” Named after the talented lady behind the wheel, this Mitsubishi was a very popular car, making great strides as the weekend progressed.

Once again, processing turned out to be a bit of a sticking point for this shot. I went back and forth on different toning techniques, trying a bit of blue, a bit of sepia, and even my tried and true x-processing. Though, despite my best attempts none of these techniques really floated my boat. So, as a last resort I decided to try another old trick, that’s right folks, back by popular demand … de-saturation. Throw in a few curves adjustment layers, a pinch of salt, and some good ol’ heavenly goodness and we have ourselves a cake…photographically speaking of course.

Now, I am pretty confident that I made the right choice processing wise. However, don’t take my word for it … take a look for yourself [HERE & HERE]. Oh, and don’t forget to toss your two cents into the wishing well.
