Feeling a bit restless, Ryan and I decided to take a spin down to Higgins. As is often the case, we arrived just as the sun was dropping below the horizon. However, I am a firm believer that the best photographs are taken either in the half an hour before sunrise or after sunset. Such is the case here, both of these having been taken roughly 20 minutes after the sun had completely dropped below the horizon.
In any event, I snapped these on my way back up from the shore heading towards the car. I was intregued by the unusual mix of lightcoming from both the setting sun and the flickering street light, as well as the dynamic lines of the staircase.
