Folks, if you haven’t backed up your hard drive in the past 20 minutes – DO IT! Why you ask? Well, if you haven’t already heard, my hard drive has been down and out for quite some time. While this is still no excuse for my lack of shooting adventures of late – it certainly has made finding images to post increasingly difficult.
I do apologize for the lack of updates, and do promise a revival of fresh images after the nightmare of working retail during the Holiday season has passed.
Today’s shot is a stretch, no pun intended. I took a total of three shots and combined them together to create a vertical panoramic. I then worked it through Photomatix, and ran it though my curvy cross processing.
For those of you who are questioning my title, it is reference to a popular show on the Discovery channel by the same name. The show revolves around a New York City taxi, which picks up unknowing passengers and offers them an opportunity to answer a number of general knowledge questions in return for a cash prize. This is in fact NOT the cash cab, though I tell you, I was on the look out for that lucky van throughout my stay in NYC.
