Hello all, apologies for my recent absence. It’s been a rough couple of days to say the least. However, the good news is that sometime between the 4 A.M. hospital visit and narrowly avoiding death on a snow covered highway – Ryan and I were able to swing by the Portland Boxing Club. Needless to say, I will have some pretty interesting stuff to share with you over the next couple of days.
But enough about me, it’s time to talk turkey – and by turkey, I mean photography. Today’s image, taken of the Old Orchard Beach Pier, was taken roughly a half an hour after the sun dropped below the horizon. I have found, that often times the best shooting comes after the sun has actually set. This shot is a perfect example. Both the color and extended exposure are due to the time of day this guy was taken.
All right, well it is now 2:30 in the morning and I am still recovering from two sleepless nights. So, in the spirit of keeping my pulse I am going to bid you farewell for this evening.
Stay tuned this week for plow trucks, boxers, and my always hyper-caffeinated best friend. Oh, and speaking of which, be sure to tune into Ryan’s blog (Residual/Ink) for some freshly brewed prose.
