Hello all, and welcome to my automated post. Considering I am going to be writing a total of five of these in one night I am going to do my best to keep them short and sweet. However, please feel free to ask any questions you might have and I’ll be sure to answer them as soon I as return to civilization.
What you’re looking at today is our second abandoned exploration of the month. What can I say? We got lucky, two for two. This one was a real diamond in the rough, an entire textile mill abandoned since 2003. The sheer size of the place was astounding, four floors of nothing. The only break from the open expanse of wide plank flooring was an occasional wrench or deceased pigeon.
In any regard, the next three posts will all be from this same mill. Taken as a bracketed exposure they have all been converted into HDR files using Photomatix and then further edited in Photoshop.
And with that, I’m off into the wilds of Maine. I shall return within a week barring any unforeseen explosions or rollovers. In the mean time make sure you take a minute to leave a comment or better yet a query. Until then, happy travels and keep shooting.
