It feels great to be back in the swing of things. Thank you all for your patience during my move. It’s good to get back to the blog.

Tonight’s images are from good ol’ Bean Town. I took these shots of a scooter chained to a parking meter on Newbury Street. Oh, how I love Newbury Street! It’s the 5th Avenue of Boston, all the best shops and galleries crammed onto one street. Perhaps my favorite occurrence on Newbury Street, though, happens after the sun goes down. This street, which during the day exudes wealth and elegance, becomes a haven for the destitute. They appear on almost every church stoop, sleeping the nights away, no matter what the weather.

Because I posted this one from the laptop, I edited these shots almost entirely in Lightroom. I did, however, bring them into PS for some final edits. I debated the toning of this image, although I feel that the color works well in this case. As always, I welcome your feedback.
